A Different Approach

It’s been a while since I last sponsored the Metro Caravan and this time I decided to take a different approach. Rather than rolling in with all of the pomp and circumstance that I normally do, I thought I’d take the approach of the doofus lender – you know, the one that signs up for sponsorship at the beginning of the year, then doesn’t come to a caravan meeting all year until the date of sponsorship, and pitches the same thing all of us lenders have to offer – low rates, fast closings, amazing jumbo programs, etc., etc. It’s the same lender that repeats same pattern every 6 months so he/she comes about – 2 times a year… maybe 3 if the lender is feeling special on a non sponsorship date, and then we all forget who Mr. Doofus Lender is until the next time.

Over the past few years, I have dedicated every Friday to attending the Metro Caravan, as well as Wednesdays at REBA, Thursdays downtown. I’m at the caravan meetings every week. You know where to find me. I am true to my word and I’ll be there to face the music when things slide sideways, which in this heavily regulated industry, can happen on occasion. I have full confidence in myself and the team that stands behind me that we will be there and close the deal.
